HUF 5.2 million in our bank account is available to be disbursed in the near future in accordance with the pledge that at least 70% of all income
received from a given county (megye) during the Biking Tour in 2005
will be spent in that county. |
|
 |
|
Our financial philosophy in the counties:
After the Bicycle Tour of Hungary in 2005,
100% from the donations are spent in the counties
where the funds originated. |
|
| 2. LEVELS OF CONTROL FOR FUNDS RECEIVED AND DISBURSED |
|
1. Foundation staff are responsible for the day-to-day processing of donations, funding requests and expenditures.
2. All expenditures are reviewed, and must be approved beforehand, by both the President and a member of the Board of Trustees. None of the twelve members of the Board of Trustees, including the President, receive any financial compensation from the Foundation.
3. The Foundation's financial books are reconciled monthly by the bookkeeping firm GG Audit.
4. The Smiling Hospital Foundation undergoes an annual audit by Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
5. The newly installed Supervisory Board lends its specific expertise and reviews the overall management of the Foundation on an ad hoc basis. |
